Michaelrose Ravalier, a PhD candidate in the Creative Leadership and Innovation for Change program at the University of the Virgin Islands, currently serves as the Director of Professional Development for the St. Thomas-St. John School District in the U.S. Virgin Islands. A 2020 U.S. Virgin Islands State Teacher of the Year Finalist, she brings years of classroom and leadership experience to her work.
Her passion lies in promoting student engagement and advancing equity—particularly for marginalized populations in STEM. Through her work, she strives to empower educators with tools that fuel creativity, amplify student voice, and open doors to progress for every learner.
She loves conversations around increasing student creativity, building inclusive classrooms, and designing learning experiences that are both meaningful and fun.
