Without teachers, there would be no other profession. Beyond that, teachers are crucial in helping students to begin to question and explore the world around them. Teachers allow our students to have access to so much more than a ‘textbook education.”

Camille’s Story

Teaching Discipline

Biology

Why Biology

“Science is in everything! Through studying science, we learn more and more about the world around us.”

Professional Experience

Camille spent a summer with Learning Enterprises traveling to a village in Poland to teach English. For the two years after that, she taught science and elective courses for a program called Aim High, a middle school summer program targeted at supporting youth from low-income neighborhoods working to close the opportunity gap.

Camille will begin teaching at Carlmont High School during the 2018–2019 school year.

Hobbies

Camille enjoys backpacking, spending time with my family, and reading new books outside in her hammock.
